Undergoing substantial change.

When 2020 started, no one certainly expected to be spending the whole year by being quarantined inside their homes. What can I say? Surprises never fail to amaze us, like how the government's incompetence forced our resiliency to decline. But why is this important? What is it about resiliency that keeps a country alive?

Resiliency can come in many forms. It is your capability to withstand hardship and recover from multiple life problems, and can range from anywhere between minor and major issues. The pandemic started around early 2020. By this time, many countries refused to acknowledge its existence and disregarded what problems it may bring. Sure, they implemented various regulations such as wearing face masks and keeping your distance, but why did it fail? And why is the Philippines the only struggling country left? Our government officials wasted the money of the people. Instead, they focused on building structures and fixing the roadways. Tell me, is that more important than the safety of your citizens? Now, both our country's resiliency and economy are failing.

The next time we're open to vote, I just hope we choose those who will lead us to salvation; not the ones who will dupe us into welcoming death.
